IVFVault is built so that we never see your data. This policy covers IVFVault on iPhone and Android, and it is short because there is almost nothing to disclose.
Nothing. IVFVault has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, on either platform, and it contains no analytics or advertising SDKs. We do not operate any server that receives your data, and the app does not connect to Apple Health, Health Connect, or any other data source outside what you enter yourself.
On Android, the app holds network access for one reason: Google Play's billing library, which Google Play requires for in-app purchases. That library lets Google Play process and restore your purchases (see Purchases below), and it also sends Google technical diagnostics about those purchase connections, such as whether a request to Google Play succeeded, so that Google can keep its billing service working. Google handles this under Google's own privacy policy, and it never includes anything you record in IVFVault. No cycle, medication, dose, appointment, result, outcome, expense, note, or document data is ever sent anywhere by IVFVault, on either platform.
Everything you log (cycles, medications, doses, appointments, results, outcomes, expenses, notes) and every document you save in the Vault is stored on your device. On iPhone, if iCloud is signed in, all of it, including Vault documents, is also stored in your own personal, private CloudKit database, encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. On Android, it stays on the phone, and if Android's Auto Backup is turned on, your cycles, medications, doses, appointments, results, outcomes and expenses are copied to your own Google Drive backup, encrypted by Google. Vault documents (lab PDFs, ultrasound images) are deliberately left out of that Android backup, since Android silently caps backups at 25MB, but they are carried across when you use Android's own phone-to-phone transfer to set up a new device. You can turn Android backup off at any time in your phone's Settings. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, and Google's handling of Android backup data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We have no access to any of it: there is no IVFVault server, and no account is required to use the app.
IVFVault offers an optional device-level App Lock so the app cannot be opened by someone else with access to your unlocked phone. On iPhone this uses Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode. On Android it uses your fingerprint, face unlock, or your device's screen lock, through Android's BiometricPrompt. This is a local access control only; it does not change where your data is stored or who can see it.
IVFVault Pro subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed entirely by Apple on iPhone or by Google Play on Android. We receive no payment details on either platform.
You can export all of your data as CSV at any time from More > Export, and erase everything in-app from More > Privacy > Erase All Data. Deleting the app removes what is on your device; to also remove the iCloud copy on iPhone, remove IVFVault data from iCloud in iOS Settings, and to also remove the Android backup, remove it from your Google Drive or Google One backup settings. Marking a cycle as not continuing only silences its reminders; it never deletes or hides that cycle's data, and only you can choose to erase it.
IVFVault is not directed at children under 13.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
